Station House Cafe Patio.
See a Panoramic View!
Even
if you aren't hungry it's
a place to sip a hot vanilla latte or icy lemonade just to
prolong your stay.
Just as we think we've found the
perfect patio, we round the corner and see Café
Reyes.
It looks inviting and smells of cilantro and
chili peppers.

Cafe Reyes - completely in the sunshine - a real plus for a
cool climate.
On the far end is an outrageous patio! Less
formal, but more open than the Station House Cafe, it has a
fantastic view of Inverness Ridge. Bales of hay, piled on
the perimeter, keep the local "flavor" in check.
It's strictly a menu decision
at this point, and the thought of an oyster omelet served just a few
minutes from Johnson's Bay Oyster Farm, where oysters are
"grown" in one of the coldest, most pristine estuaries in
the world, is too much to resist. We opt for the Station House
Cafe.
Having
satisfied our appetites, we tackle our next decision — go horseback
riding, rent bicycles
or drive out to the Point Reyes
Lighthouse.
We’re in need of our ocean fix, so we
opt for the lighthouse, just a few miles away but about
20 miles by car.
