San Jose del Cabo Shopping

f you are tempted by shopping, this is the place. The shops have lots of Mexican made goods as well as things from other parts of the world.
Everything is very low key - no hurry, no stress. Even the dog is relaxed
Many of the shops seem like art galleries; the items are fascinating to look at, and how does that go? "If you should break it, consider it sold"?

Besides the art, you can buy silver and turquoise jewelry, good quality leather goods, clay, ceramics and all the usual beach goods that are available on the beach if you want.

Sometimes the prices are better, here, but you need to know what you're doing. Remember that vase that we got for $25 as an award to the winner of the treasure hunt? The same vase here is $900 pesos -- almost $90! We should have just told you we got here. You'd be much more impressed!

Dub finds a hat he can't live without. It's made of dried seaweed and is very airy. Blow up the picture and see just how airy it is.

We see this eerie symbol in many of the shops.

She (?) is adorned in a variety of ways, but when we asked what it meant, we were told "it is a popular figure." Hmm, we did sort of get that; maybe we'll find out later.
