		Robert, known as 'The Little Padre' (a nickname he claims has certain romantic disadvantages), brought his dreams to life 5 years ago after reading a magazine article about Todos Santos from his home in Boston Massachusetts. An artist by nature, a financier first and an innkeeper in New England by trade, he said goodbye to what had been home and followed his heart.
	We met Robert in his office located inside the ceiling high, iron gates of one of the oldest buildings in Todos Santos. Within minutes, our heart beats began to slow to match the soothing sounds and sight around us.
Robert leads us past a long stone floor patio, down stone steps and through a winding pathway past palms, mango and banana trees to our suite. The suite is two levels. A small gracious living room with big French style windows seats below the bedroom. Dark wood, hardwood floors, a tapestry davenport and a small coffee table with a silver ice bucket and pitcher of fresh water lend a rich elegance and historical flavor.
